Craft sessions: Floating teacup

Welcome! Lou here.

It’s March already.

Which means another blog post. for this session, I taught people how to make a rather stunning flower arrangement out of a teacup. It was held on March 10th at a spacious studio in Valkenswaard centre.

History/uses

Although I’m not sure who created this craft, or who came up with it, floating teacups can have many uses, such as;

  1. Home decor; they can be tailored to fit a certain theme e.g. if your child or family member likes a certain Disney princess
  2. Gifts; while researching this topic and finding example pieces, I noticed a few to do with coffee, pasta or the moss and flowers being replaced by money, or candy
